The Paycheck Protection Program is part of the Covid-19 Relief Aid and Economic Security (CARES) Act. The program will allocate $350 billion to small businesses with cash-flow assistance through 100 percent federally guaranteed loans.
Small businesses with fewer than 500 employees that have been negatively affected by COVID-19 who were in operation on or before February 15, 2020. This includes sole proprietorship, independent contractors, eligible self-employed individual, non-profit organizations, and tribal concerns.
